Item Description
Native bismuth specimens are uncommon from this ancient mining district on the Czech side of the Erzgebirge with specimens directly attributable to a mine being rare. This solid and rich ore specimen is comprised of massive, lustrous to sparkly, metallic-gray bismuth with two sides coated with a rind of an unknown pastel-pink, microcrystalline mineral. Native bismuth is not listed by MINDAT for the Svornost Mine. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection, a well-known Czech specialist. 301 grams mass.
