Item Description
Native bismuth is very rare from this old-time mine on the Czech side of the famous Erzgebirge, more recently worked for uranium. This rich and hefty ore specimen is composed of lustrous to matte, granular gray bismuth, sparkly micrcrystallilne pyrite and other sulfides. A rare old-timer from the 1800s. Ex Narodni Museum and Josef Vajdak Collection, a well-known Czech specialist. Mass is 221 grams.
