Item Description

A very hard to find specimen of these well known species. Everybody knows that good Native Arsenic is not easy to find in natrue, especially if its assocaited with gemmy red Proustite! Pieces from Jachymov in the Czech Republic are almost impossible to find these days. This piece features "spongey" steel-grey colored Native Arsenic groups associated with sharp, lustrous, gemmy micro crystals of blood red Proustite on matrix. This is one of only a handful of pieces of this species that we've seen, and comes with a classic label from Czech mineral specialist, Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value. You can read Joe's biography here: http://www.minrec.org/labels.asp?colid=1371
