Item Description
An old-time specimen of what historically was referred to as "Scherbenkobalt" in German. The St. Andreasberg area is famous for producing some of the most iconic minerals in all of Germany, including some of the most well-known examples of Native Arsenic. This piece is a soft grey-black colored "nugget", with no matrix. There are some slight "bubbly" features on the front/display side, characteristic of the material. From the collection of Dan Serebrakian.
