Item Description
Mineral specimens are rare from this old extinct California antimony mine. Splendent massive metallic-gay native antimony partially altered to cervantite, antimony oxide, composes this RARE showy, sliced and polished end nodule. Formerly in the Mitch Gunnell Collection, a prominent Colorado collector and dealer with a 1926 date on this label and the Kay Robertson Collection # 11510. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
