Item Description

Wow, a rarity to be sure, it's so hard to find good crystallized examples of Native Antimony from the lesser known Les Chalanches Mine, in the French Alps. This piece hosts dozens of notably sharp and rather lustrous, tin-white color metallic crystals of trigonal Antimony on matrix. The piece shows crystals on several sides and looks beautiful up close. From an old East Coast collection, and it comes with an historic label from the legendary mineral dealer, Hugh A. Ford. Since the label has Ford's New York address it dates to 1946-1957. If you collect native elements, don't miss out on this one.
