Item Description

A pair wonderful, sharp, lustrous, rich green color crystals of the well known and very rare inosilicate Narsarsukite in matrix from the famous locality at Mont Saint-Hilaire. The largest crystal measures 8 mm across. This species is found in a little over two dozen localities around the world (including one locality in Antarctica), and even though the best known specimens are from Mont Saint-Hilaire, the type locality is the Narsaarsuk pegmatite in Greenland. Do not miss out on this one, I'm told that collecting at the quarry is now forbidden by new ownership, so specimens will be nearly impossible to obtain unless they come from old collections.
