Nagyagite (old - Type Locality)

Item Description

A beautiful miniature, very rich with this rare gold telluride, that can be had without breaking the bank as with most nagyagites. Nearly all were mined prior to 1900, one can assume, and good specimens of this fragile species are today rare, usually only obtainable in museum collections. This piece is very colorful and loaded with lathe-like silver-metallic nagyagite crystals to 1.0 cm in size. This is the Type Locality for the species. Valued at $750.
