Item Description
An exceptional and aesthetic 360-degree "mushroom" tourmaline from the 2000s finds in Myanmar (Burma). The striking sharp trigonal fibrous crystal has a rich red-violet, lustrous, translucent "cap" above the tapered black stem with more red-violet tourmaline at the base. The core is the typical black of these specimens. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection. An outstanding and pristine miniature example with rich color and excellent form. Valued at $1500. These are old classics, rare today.
