Mushistonite coating Kesterite (rare and fine)

Here we have a fine quality thumbnail specimen of Kesterite/Mushistonite from this unique locality in China. My favorite aspect of the piece is that it does not have that "dingy" dirty brown color to it which is often seen in this material, but rather the Kesterite is coated with elegant green Mushistonite. The underlain Kesterite is actually partially visible where it is uncovered by Mushistonite, and totally exposed on the underside of the piece. One does not often have the opportunity to view such textbook quality Kesterite, and these crystals are classic disphenoids, and are well separated so they can be examined with ease. overall, this is a great thumbnail of this exceptionally rare material. The largest crystal measures 1.0 cm across. No damage that I can find, and the piece is crystallized all over, on the top/display side. Priced at $650 in our inventory.
