This is a fantastic specimen of intergrown Muscovite crystals with great luster and a lovely reddish-copper color. The piece is composed of several large Muscovite crystals that are really parallel aggregates of numerous sub-crystals that range in size from 1 to 4 cm across with all the individual crystals having a sharp, well-defined hexagonal shape. For added interest on the piece, there are several small clusters of bright green Fluorapatite crystals from 0.3 to 1 cm in length. There are a few clusters on the front and several more on the back with the larger crystals. Although of modest size, this specimen is of great quality for what you commonly find for any minerals of the mica group!
