Muscovite w/ Cleavelandite & Apatite

Item Description

An impressive and uncommon large mounded muscovite specimen from these less well-known pegmatites. Densely intergrown pearlescent brown muscovite books, to 5.2 cm, have a striking jackstraw look. Several faces have embedded very glassy cleavelandite crystals. A very nifty accent is the 6 mm, doubly terminated, hexagonal, blue-green fluorapatite crystal attached to one side. Undoubtably older material, but no proof. Choice material from and East Coast collection.
