Item Description
A fine cluster of intergrown "books" of pearlescent, silver-brown, muscovite plates from North Carolina. Some of the sides of the sharp, hexagonal "books" have gorgeous flashes of emerald-green gemminess, caused by chromium. The large crystal is 3.7 cm. This is old-time, uncommon material. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and acquired in 1969.
