Muscovite on weird Albite

A dramatic and sculptural large two-sided combination from Minas Gerais. The piece looks like an alligator turtle with an uplifted head. The "shell" is composed of pearlescent books of hexagonal muscovite blades, to 4.3 cm. The back and lower front are spectacular and strange, pearlescent, parallel etched albite blades! And the straight line vein of tiny muscovite blades is the coup de grace! A VERY RARE and striking style of muscovite and albite from Minas Gerais.
