Item Description

A highly unusual looking and rare form of muscovite from Minas Gerais. Tiny, shimmering, pearlescent, yellow-green muscovite plates have covered an earlier generation of randomly oriented muscovite "books". The broken faces strikingly reveal the two generations of muscovite. Quartz crystals and albite add character to this large and rare strange-looking muscovite combination.
