Item Description

An impressive, large, 7.4 cm, "book" of pearlescent, gray, black and brown, muscovite plates is nicely set on the CABINET matrix of sharp, pastel-pink, microcline crystals. Excellent combinatinon material from recent finds in the Andes Mountains of Argentina - and the only decent example of this material we have yet seen personally. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection # 842. Dave lived and worked in Argentina in the oil industry and established good contacts there with collectors. He purchased this piece in Buenos Aires in 2002, according to his label.
