Muscovite on Fluorite, Foitite & Schorl Tourmaline

At first glance, you have to ask where is this from? You are not used to seeing large yellow minerals from Erongo, as well. This is a richly associated specimen containing multiple mineral assemblages throughout an aesthetic 360 degree piece, from Erongo region in Namibia. The main minerals are the translucent, glassy, apple green Fluorite cubes up to 5 mm on edge and the truly dazzling crystalline yellow colored Muscovite rosettes that drape over them. The color of these Muscovites is very unique for the species! A number of the Fluorites also have an outer phase of purple coloring with green cores. The Fluorites are sporadically distributed with concentrations of intergrown crystals on the back and right end. The additional associations of tiny slender prismatic black Tourmalines (of both Schorl and the more fibrous rare tourmaline group species Foitite), can be see across the piece with the main concentration in a pocket on the bottom of the piece. There is some minor wear noted but nothing that impacts the display face. A great large cabinet sized Erongo specimen with unique Muscovite coloration and a rare Tourmaline group species. Ex.
