This impressive and very sculptural large plate is covered with hexagonal "books" of iridescent, silvery golden-brown, muscovite crystals on a matrix crust of bladed cleavelandite. Some of the plates are transparent. It looks like a striking piece of modern art, but it's Mother Nature in her beauty. In super shape, for such a large and dense piece, with only just a bit of periphery wear. Rare in this size and quality from Galileia.
