Item Description

A wonderful mixture of contrasting lustrous golden Muscovite books and thin blades surrounded by stark white crystalline Albite Feldspar. This piece sparkles all over. This combination is raised to the next level with a number of transparent, glassy, elongated Quartz crystals, many with textbook Tessin habits (a slightly different style of crystal form the normal prismatic quartz). The longest Tessin Quartz on the top center is 2.5 cm. There are even a few double terminated Quartz crystals on the lower right side near the Muscovite vug. The display face is in excellent condition with only one small nick on a Quartz termination and contacting on the lower Albite. The edge and base both have contacting from being removed from the host rock. An attractive combination specimen with an uncommon Quartz habit. Ex. Kurt Hefendehl.
