Muscovite on Albite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Beautiful, gemmy, yellowish-golden colored, thin Muscovite crystals sit atop superbly well-crystallized, gemmy, very sharp, highly lustrous, distinct Albite (var: Cleavelandite) blades forming partial "rosettes". The actual crystal faces of the Albites are very fine and fun to view up close. The Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#13162). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
