Muscovite on Albite

A dramatic presentation specimen ofjust mica! But a really nicely displayed mica, with FAT silvery crystals perched on contrasting, wavelike albite matrix. I really like this, and I do not usually say that about mica specimens! The large crysatl atop is 4 cm across and nearly 2 cm thick. The piece is a beautiful matrix display specimen of a species, mica, which usually we get as just singles from here, or an accessory, and seldom as a nice combo like this.
