Muscovite (old locallity) ex. Webb Coll

Item Description

An intergrown mass of tabular, lustrous crystals of muscovite reaching 5.9 cm across. The crystals have tan faces and darker, lustrous and translucent crystal edges. On the back side are tiny, glassy and gemmy crystals of vivid red rutile. This is a locality piece, an old classic. It still has the pocket clay on it from being collected, probably prior to the 1980s.
