Item Description

This piece comes from the collection of Allen Heyl, a Colorado geologist and the namesake for the phosphate Aheylite. Allen Purchased the piece from The Rocksmiths back in 1986. It features uniquely "curved" / botryoidal groups of bright metallic silvery Muscovite. Rarely does one see Muscovite with such interesting form, and from a classic New England locality! Maine pegmatites are known for lots of great minerals, but how often does one have the chance to purchase such a lovely and eye-catching piece of Mica like this?
