Muscovite

Here we have a good large miniature / small cabinet sized specimen of golden, metallic, bladed crystals of Muscovite. Fine crystallized mica is not terribly common around the world, and to have a good display piece like this from one of the most famous North American localities is certainly noteworthy. The largest crystal measures 2.1 cm across, and the piece is in good shape. There are some really well-formed Muscovite crystals here.
