Item Description

Mrazekite is a very rare Bismuth, Copper, Hydroxy Phosphate species that is only found less than 10 worldwide localities. The blue color is very eye-catching, despite the smaller size of the crystals. The species is named after a Czech mineralogist named Zdenek Mrazek who first collected it. This piece is from the type locality for the material in Slovakia, which was first discovered in 1992. We have photographed the Mrazekite with a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. A great opportunity to purchase a species that is RARELY offered on the market. If you're a species collector, be sure to get this one! This piece comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
