Item Description

Mrazekite is a rare hydrated Bi-Cu phosphate approved in 1990. The paper arrow points toward a 2 mm wide cluster of beautiful cerulean blue microcrystals on the quartz-rich matrix. The species is named after a Czech mineralogist named Zdenek Mrazek who first collected it. This piece is from the Type Locality for the material in Slovakia. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection. Seldom on the market from here.
