Mottramite with Cerussite

Here is a large plate of stunning green Mottramite accented by sparkling Cerussite crystals from this world famous locality. Over two-thirds of the display face is richly covered in scintillating green, 1 to 2 mm, dense, divergent sprays of micro-Mottramite crystals on a contrasting pinkish, limestone matrix. This attractive piece is embellished with over a dozen, white, silky to glassy lustered Cerussite crystals, some twinned, some in small groups and some as singles. The larger ones along the top edge are attractively arrange along the top of the piece and are textbook examples of the species in perfect singles and twins from 1 to 2 cm in length with the broad V-twin at the top spanning 2.3 cm. The piece has great color contrast and is an excellent specimen of Tsumeb Mottramite! Although not world class for either species, the combination is stark and attractive - and in large size!
