Mottramite (rare large cabinet specimen)

A significant large example of the amazing world class mottramites found in Ojuela all of a sudden in the early 2010s. Now, Ojuela had been mined for 100 years and yet NOTHING like this had been seen, and then all of a sudden in this huge mine, we got one large pocket. Now, ten years later, we have seen nothing more of such magnitude. How is it that such a rich mine can spin out a one-off pocket like this! AND, they are not only the biggest but also the most beautiful mottramites. This is a large specimen with numerous stalactites sticking up, dramatic and colorful with a mossy green color. Nearly all stalactites are complete, as is the periphery, barring only very small issues. It is certainly a major specimen of the find. At the time, some similar pieces were selling at shows for $5-10k to collectors. This straggler is now a bargain, having missed its moment in the mottramite limelight! It is, regardless of species, really interesting and beautiful, But for Ojuela, its near as good as it gets.
