Item Description
An exceptional and very rare mottramite specimen from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. Mottramite is common at Tsumeb, but rarely forms attractive specimens. The pleasing green mottramite on this piece has pseudomorphed a striking nest of sharp wulfenite crystals to 1.5 cm. A single calcite rhomb is a nice accent and some of the mottramite pseudos have a nice sparkle from a druse of calcite. An outstanding and very rare Tsumeb pseudo of mottramite. Ex Jaime Bird Collection. Valued at $500-700.
