Mottramite on Calcite (Rob Smith Coll.)

Glassy, flattened, calcite rhombs are richly coated with sparkly, very dark gray-green mottramite on this showy and excellent combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. I like the form of the calcite blades and this classic combo piece is in excellent condition, except for very modest periphery wear. Ex Rob Smith Collection, a noted Tsumeb specialist.
