Here we have a sculptural, classic and showy specimen of the famous and distinctive Mottramites from the famous Ojuela Mine in Mexico. This small cabinet sized display piece features aesthetic botryoidal groups of velvety, bubbly greenish-brown Mottramite "balls" forming almost stalactitic growths to create this highly aesthetic specimen. The largest group of "balls" measures 1.5 cm tall. This piece is from the late 2011 find at this historic mine and were a major hit at the 2012 Tucson Show. Superb quality and excellent form. An eye-catching specimen for a species that is rarely found in such displayable specimens. A must have for any collector of secondary ore minerals or specimens from the Ojuela Mine.
