Item Description
This wonderful cabinet display specimen is a sculptural, classic and showy piece of the famous and distinctive Mottramites from the famous Ojuela Mine in Mexico. It features aesthetic botryoidal groups of velvety, elongated greenish-brown Mottramite "balls" forming stalactitic growths to create this highly aesthetic specimen. This piece is from the late 2011 find at this historic mine and were a major hit at the 2012 Tucson Show. Superb quality and excellent form. No major damage that I can see with the naked eye, and the piece displays beautiful from all angles. A must have for any collector of secondary ore minerals or specimens from the Ojuela Mine. Valued in the inventory at $1,000.
