Item Description
Amazingly sculptural and rich 270-degree mottramite from the late 2011 find at this renowned mine. Densely intergrown velvety, bubbly green mottramite botryoids dramatically cover the top and sides of the striking 3-dimensional, layered, vuggy gossan matrix. Some of the botryoids have a light iron oxide coating. One side hosts several clusters of tiny glassy dogtooth calcite crystals, adding pizzazz. Mottramite was previously unknown from here. These were a major hit at the 2012 Tucson Show. Showy, rich and excellent mottramite with exceptional architecture.
