Item Description

Mottramite was thought to form at its best from only Tsumeb, until this shocking material came from the Ojuela mine, and is now generally considered to be world's best of species for mottramite, by most of us. These came out around 2013 or so, and only from a few large pockets that quickly were mined through. Nothing even remotely close has come out since! We bought something like half the production- or more - at the time. This is a wonderful small cabinet piece with three-dimensionality, large balls of crystals, and good form. It is complete all around. At the time, this would easily have been priced, in context with others, at around $1000-1200 for quality and aesthetics.
