A gem hexagonal crystal of pastel pink morganite, 3 x 2.7 x 1.2 cm, balanced on beautiful matrix of quartz with minor cleavelandite. It is already a nice morganite specimen, but the extra bonus is a sharp red varynynite crystal included within! That crystal is 3 mm, and in person is super sharp, and easily seen within! It is a red sprinkle floating within the pink gem zone. We have never seen such a thing! Photos by Jingnan Zhang and Tom Campbell. Anonymous Donor. Value is hard to say on this - it is a good morganite in its own right, worth $2500-4500 without the inclusion!
