Morganite with Tourmaline

Item Description

A group of sharp, lustrous well-formed very pale pink Morganite Beryl crystals with green Tourmaline from Afghanistan. Typically, Morganite is not found in sharp, euhedral crystals, and is truly only known in fine specimens from a handful of world localities. The crystals on this specimen are nearly complete, with only minor edge wear, and shows the typical tabular habit. The piece has good luster in areas and well-defined crystal faces. The starkly contrasting Tourmaline is a real nice touch. It's nearly crystallized all the way around making it a near "floater" specimens as well! A worthwhile small miniature sized specimen of this well-known material.
