Item Description
A beautiful, gemmy, 2.3 cm, classic pink morganite crystal is jauntily set on undulating muscovite-covered cleavelandite matrix. The lustrous crystal has textbook, hexagonal and tabular form and most UNLIKE nearly all Afghanistan morganites, ALL of the crystal faces are glassy. None are frosted, as is usually the case. Another crystal partially buried in the vug is a nice accent. Herb Obodda valued this rare morganite varietal at $600, more than five years ago. It is worth $700-800 today for rarity and quality. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
