Item Description

The Stewart Mine is well-known for gorgeous, "hot pink" tourmalines. Morganites are much rarer. This is a complete-all-around, euhedral, floater crystal cluster with pretty peach-pink color in some lighting and a duller pink color in other lighting types (normal for the material). The very complex, hexagonal, gemmy crystals are very glassy, transparent to translucent. There is even a bit of purple lepidolite and bladed cleavelandite on the sides. Old material from the 1960s. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection # 412. Weighs 57 grams. Valued at $1000
