Item Description

A VERY RARE morganite from this small mine better known for aquamarines and the occasional tourmaline! Three, graduated-size, gemmy and lustrous, tabular morganite crystals are intergrown in a nifty enechelon pattern. Three and one-half sides of the piece are well-crystallized, with the back being contacted. The piece displays very nicely, as the contacts are out of sight. The specimen has been expertly repaired, as the three repairs are difficult to find. This is a LARGE, HIGHLY REPRESENTATIVE and rare morganite from this locale, only available to insiders. Ex Chuck Houser Collection. 240 grams. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. Valued $750
