Item Description
A gorgeous, gemmy, very soft pink color, thick, tabular, hexagonal hydrothermally ethced Beryl (var: Morganite) crystal from Brazil. The piece was a somewhat difficult to photograph, but it is rather gemmy, and shows a beautiful sculptural form. Interestingly, there are some very smooth, lustrous, un-etched faces on the piece (mostly on each pinacoid), so there is a unique dichotomy between the graceful etching pattern and the glassy un-etched faces. Because both pinacoids are present, the crystal is technically doubly-termianted. An eye-catching gem crystal of this classic material from one of the most famous gem producing regions in the world. Wonderful form, luster and gemminess. Weight is 108.60 grams. Priced in the inventory at $700.
