Item Description

A sharp, well-formed, gemmy, pink Morganite Beryl from the famous Shigar Valley in Pakistan. Typically, Morganite is not found in sharp, euhedral crystals, and is truly only known in fine specimens from a handful of world localities. The crystal on this specimen is in good shape and shows a less common prismatic hexagonal form, as most Morganites are tabular. It has a lively pink color, with good luster and well-defined crystal faces with associated Quartz and Albite on the back / bottom. A worthwhile miniature display specimen of this well-known material.
