Item Description
Morenosite is a rare hydrated nickel sulfate and part of the Epsomite Group. This is a very rare specimen from the Svornost Mine in the Jachymov District of the Czech Republic. Soft olive-green color micro aggregates of Moreosite are associated with light sky blue colored Annabergite on host rock matrix. A very hard to find association specimen from this classic mine that is the type locality for 17 species! This piece comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value. You can read Joe's biography here: http://www.minrec.org/labels.asp?colid=1371
