Mordenite on Stilbite & Apophyllite

Item Description

A very showy, cauliflower-like, combination specimen from Jalgaon. The cauliflower "head" is composed of snow-white, brittle, mordenite needles attached to a stalk of pearlescent stilbite blades accented with a single, 2.2 cm, embedded, mint-green, apophyllite crystal "leaf". A thin rind of basalt is attached to the piece. A bit of contacting is noted, but is hidden in the display view. Highly representative and uncommon combination material.
