Moonstone (Face)

Moonstone is a varietal name given to the tranlucent Feldspar Labradorite. This particular stone exhibits all the qualities of a fine Moonstone. This stone is a fantastic carved "face" which when viewed through transmitted light, exhibits a beautiful slightly milky appearance, and when it is viewed by reflected light, exhibits a pale blue "sheen". This "sheen" is very characteristic of Moonstone and highly desirable among collectors.
