Moonstone (Cat's Eye)

Item Description

Moonstone is a varietal name given to the tranlucent Feldspar Labradorite. This particular stone is a "cat's eye" gem, and is one of the very few of it's kind that I have seen. This stone is a nice "Round Cabochon" cut gem with a fairly distinct "eye". When it is viewed by reflected light, exhibits a faint silver "sheen" (not as green as the photos might indicate). This is a very attractive and hard to find Moonstone which is highly desirable among collectors.
