Item Description
Moonstone is certain variety of translucent opalescent Feldspar (typically Microcline or rarely Orthoclase). Most of the time, the stones will be polished into cabochons, and this is a great 10 stone set featuring fine quality, rather gemmy "Oval Cabochon" cut stones. When they are viewed in reflected light, the surface of some of the stones exhibit a classic blue "sheen". This is a very attractive set of Moonstone gems, which are well-matched for their quality and size.
