Item Description

Moolooite (copper-rich) and humboldtine (iron-rich) are very rare organic oxalates. They are extremely rare from the Ahmeek Mine of Copper Country. The sculptural, ameoba-shaped, flattened, floater, native copper specimen is very richly covered with ivory analcime on one side and has much less on the other. Both sides are richly covered with turquoise-blue crusts of moolooite. A few small patches of amber-yellow, humboldtine are scattered on the sides and edges of the copper. To find both of these rarities on the same piece may be unique for this locale. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection. Value???
