Item Description

Sprays of pretty rose-red, lustrous and translucent montgomeryite lathes are densely clustered or isolated on the pink microcline cleavage matrix. Drusy, sparkly colorless whitlockite scattered about is a typical accessory. The famous Tip Top Mine, a pegmatite mined for beryllium, is well-known for its rare phosphate species, such as these two species. A showy and highly representative example of the rare species and locale.
