Item Description
Montebrasite is a rare Li-Al phosphate, that looks like beryllonite, a rare Na-Be phosphate. This is a sharp, fishtail-twinned, lightly frosted/etched, transparent, tan montebrasite crystal from the famous Sapucaia Mine of Brazil. An excellent and rarely on the market, elongated example of the species. Pristine. Probably older material, but no proof. Ex. Bob Trimingham Collection
