Choice and gemmy, this twinned Montebrasite is from the pegmatites of Linopolis, Brazil. The delicate yellow color complements the gemminess quite nicely, and the luster varies from glassy to frosted, adding a nice visual contrast to the piece. The two main faces are cleavage planes, with the side faces and terminations being complete. In fact, this twinned crystal is doubly-terminated. One tip has been dinged but this nonetheless remain a fine example of this sought-after phosphate from Brazil with overall fine geometry and good size. valued $400-500
